A Stride Beyond

Towering presence,
bedecked with piercing image of effulgence,
brilliance in eloquence
fired in such stunning staccato sentences,
he impales the heart
with fascination's spike,
the pillar of eccentric spells,
master of intense and quirky personas,
who poses in those vivid stances,
a stride beyond where we assume
his character lives.

Charisma shines from his eyes,
igniting the screen with his special charms,
each cinematic passage he takes the viewer
always full of energy and excitement,
through a panoply of pics
has he given a stunning array
of his versatility,
joy a fount flowing from his presence.

Where he takes us when the curtain rises,
is always worth the journey,
from the alien in "Earth Girls are Easy,"
to "Jurassic Park,"
and even in, "Nine Months,"
there is always a seat to entertainment's bloom
that graces with satisfaction.

The Awesome Mr G

Some where between a fuzzy blue alien
to an over grown fly

comes a man on a mission
to save the 4th of July

He bumped into Gina D.
a couple of times along the way

Now he's headed to
the all time favorite Law & Order C I

Gee Jeff

Well Jeff, I see you are in the limelight again
With a smile that is beautiful to see
Did you sign another contract or not
I hope you did and it's for a movie with me

I must say you look so debonair
In this photo that I see
I believe it's taken at a luncheon
That you spoke at ever so free

Gee Jeff, won't it be great
To make another movie so soon
This time I hope it's a western
Along the lines of the movie High Noon

Well, whatever the movie is about
It will be a humdinger I know
Cause every movie that you are in
You always steal the whole show

His Merriment

A moment snatched from fickle time
and set upon a glossy page,
captures mirth: sweet, sublime
trapping it in history for an age.

All muscles move in rapid file
contorting creases of the face
to form such a joyous smile:
appearing all but commonplace.

Bright eyes beneath glass do gaily tell
of that very same enchanting thought
that chimed like the morning Mass bell
'til the man's glad soul was caught.

Now the world can easily tell
of the merriment he knew well.

Metamorphosis

The man of the fly,
metamorphosis in play,
takes us to a place,
takes our breath away.

Energy in no reserve,
as it pours out on the wing,
imitation of a flies life,
in wich he does not sing.

The layers peel off,
as life falls in the wane,
by the side of a maggots touch,
that was never in vain.

Buzzing like electricity,
simply hard to harness,
blown away by abilities,
in life’s acute hardness.

Born of a simple seed,
a plague upon the Earth,
such little attention is payed,
to all the merits of your worth.
